We stayed in Stillington 3 nights exploring York and the coast, Needed to find a nice Pub meal for Saturday evening before heading home and WHAT a surprise it was . The atmosphere, the people and the food was unbelievable, flavor , portions, prices ❤️ we could not finishing our trip in a better way

Just had the best meal we've had all year . All cooked fresh. And to perfection. When I asked for not too much sauce it was ok. Dave's steak 🥩 was cooked as he asked. And my sea Bass 🐟 melted like butter. The prices didn't match the beautiful quality and service. Even meggy got a biscuit 🍪. exactly service as always. Lovely country pub. 1 of the main reasons we rebooked the cottage for Christmas again this year.

Really good Sunday lunch at the bay tree in stillington, the portions were very generous and it’s easily the best Yorkshire pudding I’ve ever had. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The prices are also very reasonable. Hopefully the fire will be on next time we go in the pub has a very cosy and relaxed vibe.

My wife and I had a meal here last week. I tried the flat iron steak which was cooked to perfection. Our waitress explained the part of the cow where the steak would come from as I had not heard of this cut before. Nothing was too much trouble and we will definitely visit again when in the area. Well done!

Had one of the best Sunday roasts. Very polite and friendly staff. Food quality and price was incredible. A must go country pub.

What a gem of a Pub, We were over this weekend visiting York. Needed to find a nice Pub meal for Saturday evening. Before heading home. Highly recommend the Bay tree if you're in the area. Great service and top class food.

Came across this pub while searching somewhere local to where we was staying. I’m so glad we found it. From the minute we walked through the door there was a warm welcome, table decorations for my partners birthday, the food was so amazing. We was a little full after our dinner so skipped desert but they again went out of their way to bring us a brownie plate with a happy birthday message. Thank you for making our last evening in York such a memorable one. We will most definitely be back on our next trip to York.

Wonderful experience at The Bay Tree visiting last night. Lovely decor and garden area with a wonderful warm welcome from Becky who looked after us fantastically all evening. The food was delicious, high end on style, presentation, taste and quality. My kids especially enjoyed saying Hi to the rabbits! We have already booked to return before we finish our holiday. If you are in the area, make sure you try out The Bay Tree!

Fantastic service accompanied by incredible food. I would recommend here for a date, family meal or just a quick spot of lunch. The refurbishment was a success and the new owners are just what this little gem needed. Even a cheeky pint is well worth the visit. I will be back soon and hope to see some of you there. Cheers!
